RI Man Accused Of Having Knuckle Knife
Police said the man had the illegal weapon after he was stopped for a traffic violation.
MAMARONECK, NY — A Rhode Island man was accused of having an illegal weapon after a traffic stop on the state Thruway. New York State Police said Miguel A. Feliz, 20, of Providence, Rhode Island, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.
Police said, around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, troopers stopped a car on I-95 in the village of Mamaroneck for a vehicle and traffic violation.
Probable cause was established to search the car, police said, after talking to the occupants.

Feliz was found to have metal knuckle knife or trench knife, which is a knife with brass knuckles attached.
He was taken into custody and processed at the New Rochelle barracks.

Feliz was released after being issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Mamaroneck Court Aug. 27.
