Sentence For Woman Who Crashed Into Mamaroneck Eatery
Nine people were injured in the incident and the restaurant was closed for three months.
MAMARONECK, NY — The elderly woman who crashed her car into a Mamaroneck restaurant last year received her sentence Monday. Roseanne Cassano, 81, said she drank half a glass of wine and took a Xanax before leaving the restaurant and getting into her car.
The judge sentenced her to five years' probation and revoked her license permanently, News 12 reported.
Nine people were injured in the incident which also cause the restaurant to be shut down for three months.
