Third Strike Felony DWI Arrest In Mamaroneck
The late night arrest on I-95 was the driver's third drunk driving arrest, according to New York State police.
MAMARONECK, NY — A driver on the New England Thruway in Mamaroneck is facing a felony DWI charge after a traffic stop over the weekend.
Eduardo G. Rodriguez Pozos was arrested after being pulled over just after 11:30 p.m. on Friday. Troopers say it became clear the 48-year-old driver was intoxicated after speaking with him. The Bronx man was booked into custody in New Rochelle, but he declined to take a breathalyzer, according to state police.
According to records, Rodriguez Pozos has two previous DWI convictions within the last 10 years. He was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated based on the prior offenses.

The accused drunk driver was released to a sober acquaintance. He is scheduled to appear in front of a Village of Mamaroneck Court on June 3.
