Town Of Mamaroneck: IMMEDIATE TEMPORARY CHANGE - Sanitation Collection Schedule

June 9, 2021

We have been advised by Westchester County that our regular disposal site for recycled paper is closed, requiring the Commission to take the material to a facility farther away.  Due to this interruption, the following changes are being made to this week’s collection schedule, beginning immediately Wednesday, June 9.  

Please read carefully:

Today Wednesday, June 9, we will only be collecting recycled paper.

Residents with a Monday Thursday collection schedule, commingled recyclables will be picked up on Thursday after regular garbage collection

Residents with a Tuesday Friday collection schedule, commingled recyclables will be picked up on Friday after regular garbage collection

Yard waste pickup is CANCELLED for this week.

The Maxwell Avenue recycling center will be open today, Wednesday, June 9, but only for the drop off of recycling material and yard waste.
