Maria Alzira Silva of Mamaroneck, NY, passed away February 22, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Maria was born in Castlejo, Portugal to Guilherme and Eufemia Abreu. She worked as a seamstress for many years and was a proud member of I.L.G.W.U.
Beloved wife of Jose Silva, devoted mother to Filipe (wife Jennifer), cherished grandmother of Isabel Maia, Noah and Iliana Madison. Loving sister to Edgar Abreu (wife Fernanda), Odeter Nolletti (husband Redo) and the late Jose Abreu.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Feb. 24 at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 East Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. The funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Feb. 25 at Saint Vito's Roman Catholic Church in Mamaroneck.
