2 Men Arrested For Shooting at Bolden Mack Park

Two men were arrested and charged with second-degree assault in connection with a North Amityville shooting.

Two young men were arrested in connection with a North Amityville shooting.

Following an investigation by First Squad detectives, Dashawn Kee and Kenyatta Weston were arrested on July 2 for shooting Troy Robinson at Bolden Mack Park, located on Great Neck Road.

The suspects shot Robinson at the park on June 30, and he was taken by an acquaintance to the North Amityville Fire Department at around 3:15 p.m. Fire department personnel transported him to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was treated and released.

Kee, 22, of North Amityville, and Weston, 19, of Copiague, were charged with second-degree assault. Both were scheduled for arraignment at Central Islip’s First District Court on July 3.
