4-Foot Snake Found In Garage Of Lindenhurst Home

The snake was found in the home of an N. Broome Avenue home on Sunday.

LINDENHURST, NY — Suffolk Police responded after a snake was found in the garage of a Lindenhurst home on Sunday.

The four-foot snake was discovered on the N. Broome Avenue home at about 10:30 a.m.

The snake was removed by police and transported to South Shore Tropicals on 127 W. Hoffman Avenue.

An employee at the pet shop confirmed they received the snake and believe it is a boa python.
