Angela's House Hosts 8th Annual Fishing Trip/Fundraiser
Non-profit organization Angela's House hosted a fishing trip/fundraiser at Captree Park on July 22.
250 people came out for the eighth annual Angela’s House fishing trip on Tuesday, July 22 at Captree Park in Babylon. Dr. and Mrs. Anthony Policastro sponsored the fishing trip fundraiser, and participants wore purple Angela’s House t-shirts throughout the event.
“The eighth Angela’s House fishing trip was as usual, beautiful,” said Karin Caro of Blu Chip Marketing. “Being on the boat with the kids and other people who are passionate about helping the children and families of Angela’s House is simply alluring. The sights of the sun setting while the kids are fishing and understanding the value of why they are there is exhilarating.”
Founded in 1992 by Bob Policastro, Angela’s House assists families caring for children with special health care needs that are medically fragile, chronically ill or living with a life-threatening illness.
