Students, trustees, administration, Village and honored guests come together to put together the Annual Senior Citizen Prom at the Lindenhurst High School.
Lindenhurst High School’s National Honor Society and the Student Council recently sponsored the annual prom for Lindenhurst’s senior citizens from the Village's Rainbow Center.
"The high school cafeteria was beautifully decorated, and the festive music provided the perfect backdrop for dancing," according to school officials.
The senior citizens enjoyed a full dinner menu, prepared by high school culinary students.
In addition the senior citizens enjoyed music from the orchestra and singing groups. They also crowned of a prom king and queen.
Also on hand to enjoy the festivities were several Lindy School District and Village officials, including LHS Principal Dan Giordano, Board of Education Trustees Ed Langone and Robert Vitiello, Deputy Mayor Kevin McCaffrey, Village Trustees Mike Lavorata and Joan M. Masterson, and Deputy Village Administrator Doug Madlon.
