AMITYVILLE, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions.

One of their available pets is Oreo, a 7-year-old large female Australian Shepherd and Pit Bull Terrier mix.
