BACCA's TOBY Awards Set for Fri.

The 11th Annual Teen Youth Theatre Awards presented by the Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts (BACCA) are set for Friday, May 17.

The 2013 awards ceremony takes place at North Babylon High School, One Phelps Lane in North Babylon, and begins at 7 p.m.

Each year BACCA awards students in the Town of Babylon for outstanding performances in their high school theater productions, according to BACCA officials.

The awards ceremony is open to the public and admission is free, noted officials.

Awards are given out in several categories in an "Oscar-like" presentation. In addition, excerpts from the winning performances will be presented.
