Bower Elementary Featured in 'Team Toon" on Netflix

Team Toon is on Netflix. The 26-episode hybrid live action/animation show featuring four school friends, Dylan, Ash, Sam and Iko, was filmed at the former home of Edward W. Bower Elementary School, located at 315 West Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst, from November 2011 through August 2012. Many local children were cast as background extras as well as local schools and businesses were featured.

Team Toon is a fun show developed by Cartoon Network EMEA and created for children ages 6 -11 years old. It is jam-packed with action, adventure and comedy. The four friends create an online webisode entitled “Psycho Squirrel.” The Psycho Squirrel episodes open and close each episode of Team Toon. The live action and animated worlds collide when the characters and hi-tech gadgets of Psycho Squirrel come to life and help the friends solve mysteries at their beloved Hutchinson Elementary School a.k.a. The Bower School.
