On October 31, 2018, Lindenhurst became a spooky, scary haven for all types of ghouls, goblins and ghosts. Rocco and Lisa Patto, residents of Lindenhurst, started planning for this 4th annual Lindy tradition early in July. In partnership and collaboration with the Village of Lindenhurst, Law Enforcement and local volunteers the Patto’s, who serve on the board of Directors of Lindy Cares and administer the popular Facebook page "Eyes On Lindy", brought together residents of Lindy with local merchants and officials to celebrate Halloween. Events like this provide a safe and vibrant place to meet your neighbors and to put public space in Lindenhurst to good use. Special thanks to the mayor, Mike Lavorata and his dedicated team of village officials who support the work of so many great civic, youth and charitable organizations!
