Christmas 2019: What's Open, Closed In Lindenhurst

LINDENHURST, NY - The holidays are here which means that several businesses and government entities will be closed.

Village offices in Lindenhurst close for the Christmas holiday and do not reopen until Thursday, Dec. 26.

With the exception of Christmas Eve, all curbside trash and recycling pickup is delayed one day during the week of Christmas.

Babylon Town Hall will also be closed for the holidays.

Here's a list of what else is opened and closed on Christmas Day in Lindenhurst:

• Post Office: Closed
• Restaurants: Open at owner's discretion
• Retail stores: Open at owner's discretion
• Liquor stores: Closed
• Banks: Closed
• Gas stations: Open
• Movie theaters: Open

The MTA will be providing extra services on Christmas Day.
