Cops: Lindy Man Arrested after Reported Domestic Dispute in Nassau County
Patrick Francois, 28, is charged with criminal contempt, resisting arrest and pot possession after Suffolk Police arrested him the Saturday before Easter at Sherbrooke Road and Jackson Avenue following a reported domestic dispute in Massapequa.

The heavy police presence on Sherbrooke Road and Jackson Avenue residents reported seeing the weekend before Easter resulted in the arrest of a Lindenhurst man.
According to Suffolk Police, after a search for "someone who violated a domestic order of protection" on the morning of March 23, First Precinct officers arrested Patrick Francois, 28, who resides in that area of North Lindenhurst, and charged him with resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana.
He was also later charged by Nassau Police with criminal contempt as the result of an alleged domestic dispute in that County.

The SCPD said a First Precinct officer attempted to approach a man regarding a possible domestic incident when the man fled on foot. The suspect fled on Straight Path, police said, and was apprehended on Sherbrooke and Jackson.
Police said the "incident happened at 11:31 a.m." on March 23, and aviation did not respond.

Inspector Gerard Gigante, First Precinct commanding officer, told Lindenhurst Patch in an e-mail that since the incident was domestic-related, specific details are kept confidential.
However, he was able to say Francois was "wanted by Nassau Police following a domestic dispute" in Massapequa.
"Nassau wanted him for violating an order of protection, so the charge is criminal contempt," Gigante said, adding, "Generally, with criminal contempt charges stemming from a domestic incident, we'll bring as much resources as is needed to capture the suspect. In this case we called sufficient units to secure the area."
Francois was captured and charged in Suffolk with the aforementioned charges of "resisting arrest and possessing a small quantity of marijuana," the inspector said. "He was then turned over to Nassau Police for their criminal contempt charge."
He's been arraigned on all charges, and his next appearance in Nassau First District Court for the criminal contempt charge is April 10, according to court documents.
His next appearance in Suffolk First District Court for the other two charges is May 22, according to court papers.
