County Champs: Lindenhurst Football Downs Pat-Med to Win Division I Crown
The Bulldogs will take on Syosset in the Long Island Championship next week.
The Lindenhurst Bulldogs are county champions.
Lindenhurst won the Suffolk Division I title Friday night with a 30-27 victory over Patchogue-Medford.
It was a see-saw battle at Stony Brook University, but the Bulldogs held on at the end to punch their ticket to the Long Island championship game against Syosset.

Ryan Hofmann threw two TDs to Joe Palmeri for Lindenhurst. Marquise Williams blocked a field goal and returned it for a touchdown for the Bulldogs. Gino Bonagura had a rushing TD for Lindenhurst and A.J. Leddy chipped in a field goal.
