Danaher Wealth Management Adopts a Lindy HS Senior!

Many Lindy residents are familiar with Marguerite Danaher (Meg) of Danaher Wealth Management in Lindenhurst. An active member of the Chamber of Commerce and part of the team that has served as a catalyst for our village revitalization, Meg resurrected the Lindy Lions Club, bringing this famed, traditional club with high standards and values back into action in Lindenhurst.
So when Meg called to tell me that she wanted to do something wonderful to show the current graduating class of 2020 that we are all behind them, I knew it was going to be superb.

Always ready to give back to our amazing community, you'll see her around Thanksgiving dropping off turkeys and bringing cheer where ever she goes, building her team of volunteers, collecting eye glasses and recycling them to change lives, and lets not forget raffling off the most fun and popular "Jimmy Buffet" Bicycle at Village events with the Lion's Volunteers!

As a mother of five children, alumna of Fordham and Stetson University supporting current students at Fairfield, Stonybrook and Manhattan College, Meg knows the emotions and planning that goes into the transition from high school to college. Meg told me that she really wants to give a student that extra sense of confidence to let them know that even in uncertain times, the future will be brighter.

Meg leads by example, I asked her what she plans to do and she so eloquently explained, "Make a difference. Teach, Lead, Guide" is our mission at Danaher Wealth Management. Founded in 2012, our firm uses a personal approach to guide our clients in accumulating, managing, and preserving their wealth. Reading, education, and community service are important values to us and it gives me great pleasure to offer this $1,000 scholarship to the Lindenhurst High School senior who shares these values with us.

Dr. Candace Brodie, Principal of Lindenhurst High School and her staff reviewed the eligible students and one very special senior stood out and will be awarded this generous scholarship at an upcoming date (to be determined) as he or she pursues a career in business and finance. Sincere thanks to Marguerite Danaher and her family for serving as a role model and caring resident of Lindenhurst.
