Firefighters Respond To North Amityville Home Twice In 1 Weekend

Firefighters responded to the same home on both Saturday and Sunday.

NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — Firefighters responded to the same North Amityville home two nights in a row this past weekend.

Suffolk police confirmed that officers and firefighters got a call for smoke condition at the home on E. Smith Street on Saturday. Arson detectives was not requested that night.

Then on Sunday night, a fire was reported at the same home at about 10:49 p.m. Members of the Amityville, Lindenhurst, North Lindenhurst, East Farmingdale and Copiague.

Arson responded on Sunday night for the call of a fire at the location and it was determined to be non-criminal.
