Fun, Celebration for Sandy Survivors' Kids Set for Sat.

Neighbors Supporting Neighbors Babylon, Babylon Helps, Adopt a House and other organizations are teaming up to put on a fun day for the youngest Hurricane Sandy survivors this upcoming weekend.
The celebration for the area's Little Heroes is for children who've had to deal with the tragedy and aftermath after Sandy hit on October 29.
The event for the children will including face painting, Darlings and Divas Glitter Tattoos, a bouncy house, cotton candy, popcorn, hamburgers, hot dogs and dancers from Divine Rhythms Dance Studio.
For the adults FEMA, AmeriCorps, Project Hope, North Shore LIJ's Mobile Medical Unit, Island Harvest, Catholic Charities and the Department of Finance will be on hand to answer your questions while the kids are off being kids.
The celebration will take place at First Presbyterian Church on East Main Street in nearby Babylon Village on Saturday, April 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
All families are required to register for the event, as there'll be a gift card giveaway.
