Happy Reunion For Mother Goose And Baby Goslings

Officers helped to reunite a mother goose who was separated from her three goslings this week.

WEST BABYLON, NY — It was a happy reunion for a mother goose and her three goslings who were separated in West Babylon this week.

Officers responded to a report of baby goslings stuck on a Long Island Railroad trestle at 2:10 p.m. on Monday on South Railroad Avenue.

The mother goose was separated from her goslings and was impeding traffic.

Officers Lucas McDonald and Stacey Cunneen, Sgt. Salvatore Gigante, and Emergency Service Section Officers Keith Charley and Thomas Lafemina responded with a ladder and were able to retrieve the animals.

The babies were then reunited with their mother, who was waiting nearby.
