Help Restoring Power Comes From North Carolina
Signs of progress seen in a community hard hit by Sandy.
Babylon Village Patch Editor Scott Moore, a Lindehurst resident, grabbed these photos showing repair work on a downed utility pole near DeKalb Avenue on North 4th Street in Lindenhurst. The area has been without power since Monday.
A sign of the help LIPA is receiving from other parts of the United States, the repair work was being completed by workers from Lee Power of Aberdeen, N.C.
