Hermanas Kitchen and Cocktails Officially Open For Business

LINDENHURST, NY — A highly-anticipated new Lindenhurst restaurant has officially opened its doors to the public. Many local residents have been waiting for the opening of the Hermanas Kitchen and Cocktails on 136 S Wellwood Avenue for the past year - and now its finally here.

The owners are three longtime friends Kristen Lapof, Lauren Nash and Sara Pesserillo, who announced plans to open the Hispanic restaurant last February. Their eatery will include small plates of foods such as empanadas and tacos along with bigger plates of items such as salads and sandwiches made by chef Edwin Corado.

For now, the eatery will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to midnight.

However, Hermanas will soon be adding a happy hour as well as lunch and brunch on Sundays.
