Jazz Vocalist Tony Middleton To Perform At Lindenhurst Restaurant

Legendary jazz vocalist Tony Middleton will bring his trio to the South Shore on Thursday, April 19.

From Villa Gaia: Legendary jazz vocalist Tony Middleton will bring his trio to the South Shore on Thursday, April 19th, 7:30 – 10:30 p.m. at Villa Gaia, popular long-time Lindenhurst Italian restaurant. Middleton, a Broadway veteran with a complex range and sultry tone, has headlined at the Apollo, performed at iconic jazz clubs, and been compared to Ray Charles and Lou Rauls. Yet his style is all his own. Now, he is bringing his distinctive voice and warm personality to the South Shore for a very special performance at what may well become known as Long Island’s hottest new night spot.

Middleton will be backed by veteran musicians, bassist James Cammack and pianist Joe Vincent Tranchina. Cammack has collaborated with jazz greats Amad Jamal, Nancy Wilson and Dee Dee Bridgewater and performed at jazz clubs and festivals across America and around the world. Tranchina, an award-winning pianist, composer and arranger, has performed at many of the major jazz clubs in New York, including Birdland and the Blue Note, as well as touring abroad.

Reservations for Thursday’s performance are recommended. The $20 cover charge for the three-hour, two set performance includes one complimentary drink.
