KiDS NEED MoRE Offering Virtual Camp for Long Island Families

Long Island based charity is offering virtual camp for the kids and a support hotline for the parents to help cope with uncertain times

KiDS NEED MoRE, the Long Island based non-profit organization for families battling cancer and other life threatening illnesses, is offering Virtual Camp for the children stuck at home. Kids are invited to video chat with Super Heroes and Disney princesses, enjoy cooking classes, and more.

KiDS NEED MoRE has also partnered with the Lindy Cares Coalition to create a “WARMline”for families, friends, and local businesses to call, text or email, to speak with someone who can recommend local services for things like food delivery, or simply to offer a supportive ear to listen to and address any stress or concerns during these unprecedented time.
