LHS Boys & Girls LAX Make Playoffs

Both Lindenhurst High School Varsity Lacrosse teams have made the 2013 playoffs.

The Lindenhurst High School Boys and Girls Varsity Lacrosse teams have made the Spring 2013 playoffs, and are scheduled to play Thursday and Friday, respectively. 

The Bulldogs, under the direction of Coach Tom McCandless, are scheduled to play Thursday, May 16, at West Islip High School.

The game starts at 4:30 p.m.

District officials posted directions to the WIHS on Higbie Lane on the Lindenhurst Schools website, noting, "Everyone is invited to come out and support the team. The projected weather for Thursday: 74 degrees and partly sunny."

The day after the boys team takes the field at WIHS, the Lady Bulldogs, under the direction of Coach Paul DiGiulio, is scheduled to play.

The game on Friday, May 17, is at Middle Country, and begins at 2 p.m. 

District officials also posted direction to Middle Country (Centereach High School) on its website, and invited residents to come out in support.

Officials also posted that the weather forecast for Friday calls for "72 degrees and sunny for those interested."
