LHS Marine Biology Students Get a Special Lesson at Atlantis

Educators from Atlantis offer a special lesson to Lindenhurst High School students that included a shark dissection and interaction with marine animals.

Lindenhurst High School’s marine biology class - under the leadership of Gavin Costanzo - took a field trip to Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead.

Educators from Atlantis gave a special lesson to students.

They especially enjoyed being able to pet a real penguin.

The students were also able to participate in a shark dissection.
