LI Business Starts Fundraiser To Donate Coffee To Hospitals
Sail Away Coffee, a small local business, is looking to help continue donating cold crew to health care workers through a new fundraiser.

LONG ISLAND, NY — A small Long Island business recently started a fundraiser to donate their coffee health care workers during the coronavirus pandemic. Sail Away Coffee will now be using all profits from the purchase of a special t-shirt they had made, to donate a case — or multiple cases — of their coffee to a Long Island or NYC hospital.
Customers can choose to donate one case for $30, two cases for $50 or four cases for $80 to the hospital of their choosing. When checking out online, customers can write the hospital they want to send the donated cases of nitro cold brew to. If no hospital is specified, Sail Away Coffee will randomly select one.

"To assist as best we can during this pandemic, we have donated over 100 cases of Nitro Cold Brew to hospitals around LI and NYC," the company wrote on its website. "With an overwhelming amount of daily requests for more donations, we needed to figure out a way to continuously donate during this battle, yet sustain ourselves as a small business."
