Lindenhurst Beats Garden City In Close Game For LI Championship
Congratulations to the Lindenhurst High School football team who are now Long island champions!
LINDENHURST, NY - The Lindenhurst High School football team just went from Suffolk County champions to Long Island champions!
The Bulldogs defeated Garden City Trojans during the nail-biter game ending with a score of 14-13 on Saturday at Hofstra University.
The undefeated team won their third division title last Saturday after beating out West Islip. The team previously won back-to-back championships in 2017 and 2018.
