New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand provided Eric with the personal nomination he needed to be considered for appointments. Throughout his tenure at Lindenhurst, Eric has maintained a high grade-point-average, challenging himself with Advanced Placement and College Level courses, in addition to participating in numerous extra-curricular activities. Eric has worked extremely hard to get to this point and is ready to represent Lindenhurst during this next phase of his life at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy as a member of the Class of 2025.

The district congratulates him on this achievement.
