Lindenhurst Man Fled After Hitting 3 Cars: Police
The 27-year-old was arrested Wednesday morning after striking three cars with his 2012 Volkswagen and then fleeing the scene, police said.
WEST ISLIP, NY — A Lindenhurst man was arrested for hitting three cars with his car before fleeing Wednesday morning, according to Suffolk police.
The 27-year-old man drove a 2012 Volkswagen eastbound on Montauk Highway, near Snedecor Avenue when his car struck a 2019 Honda Accord, a 2008 Volkswagen Gulf and a 2013 Chrysler at 7:20 a.m.
He then fled the scene. He was later arrested and charged with three counts of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
