Lindenhurst Native Named to Forbes' 30 Under 30 List

Lindenhurst native Katelyn Gleason has been named to Forbes’ ”30 Under 30” list in healthcare.
Gleason, a 2003 Lindenhurst High School graduate, is the CEO of Eligible API, which allows healthcare providers to connect seamlessly to over 1,000 health insurance payers.
“When doctors want to verify a patient’s insurance, a secretary uses the phone,” Forbes writes. “Gleason has created an online API to do the same thing. Investors including Esther Dyson have put in $1.5 million.”

Gleason, 29, currently lives in San Francisco, where Eligible API is based.
