Lindenhurst Schools Closed Tuesday, Classes Full-Remote
Due to the massive storm, schools will be closed but classes will still be full -remote.
LINDENHURST, NY — The massive snowstorm that hit Long Island has now closed schools for the second day, but classes will still go on Tuesday.
The storm began hitting Long Island overnight Sunday and is expected to go on into Tuesday, bringing over a foot of snow to certain areas.
In response, the Lindenhurst School District closed all school buildings on Monday night.

After being closed on Monday, all schools will also be closed again on Tuesday, Feb. 2, however, classes will be full-remote.
Students are asked to sign in using Classlink and follow their typical daily schedules.

Elementary school classes will take place from 9:05 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., middle school classes will take place between 8:03 a.m. and 2:41 p.m. and high school classes will take place from 7:28 a.m. to 2:05 p.m. It is an A day at the secondary level.
