Lindenhurst Second Graders Dress Up As Influential Americans

Upon learning about some influential Americans throughout history during class, students in Alyson Ferreby's second grade class at Daniel Street Elementary School in the Lindenhurst Union Free School District, read biographies and completed art projects depicting their chosen notable American.

Students then donned the costumes of the figure they studied presented their projects in character, sharing interesting facts about themselves to their classmates.
