Lindenhurst Vape Shop Owner Killed Inside Business: PD

LINDENHURST, NY — A Long Island vape shop owner was killed inside his business Wednesday night, according to Suffolk police.

A family member of Kinshuk Patel, the owner of Dapper Smoke Shop at 411 40th St. in Lindenhurst, couldn't reach him and called police around 9:40 p.m., police said. Officers found him injured inside the shop.

The 33-year-old Babylon man, the father of a 4-year-old and 5-month-old according to ABC 7, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made as of Thursday night.
