Lindenhurst Village Elections Postponed
The election, set for Wednesday, have been rescheduled for next month.
LINDENHURST, NY — The Lindenhurst Village election set for Wednesday has been postponed until next month. Gov Andrew Cuomo recently announced that all elections will be postponed in an effort to keep New Yorkers safe during the new coronavirus outbreak.
All elections, including the Lindenhurst village election, have been rescheduled and will now take place the same day as the primary election on April 28.
In Lindenhurst, the mayor and two village trustees, are up for re-election, all for four-year terms. All are running unopposed. Mayor Michael Lavorata, Joan Masterson and Richard J. (RJ) Renna will all be on the ballot.
