Lindenhurt's Julia Bryant Wins Bernie Ward Commitment Award for Kellenberg's Freshmen Track Team

On March, 12 2015, Kellenberg Memorial High School held a banquet to honor its winter athletes. Certain athletes were awarded for their outstanding achievement. Here is what Julia’s coach had to say about her. Off to a slow start after her very successful freshman cross country season, Julia Bryant “got her feet wet” both literally and figuratively in competitive experience and the necessary confidence to be a consistent winner. Realizing that distance running done on off days is like academic homework at night, a necessary drudgery, Julia ignited in the championship season scoring on important relays in Varsity competition. That alone, along with her spirit as evidenced by her joining a small contingent of girls making spirit posters for senior teammates are just two examples of why Julia Bryant has earned this season’s Bernie Ward Commitment Award for our freshman team.
