Lindy Cares Scholarships Awarded!

Each year since 2014, the Lindy Cares scholarship committee selects 3 essays submitted by Lindenhurst High School graduating seniors that define and suggest ways Lindy Cares can better serve the youth of our community. Lindy Cares volunteers coordinated by Ann Marie Thompson reviewed the essays and chose those that offered valuable insight that stood out with ideas that will assist the coalition create campaigns and activities to better serve our Lindy students as they strive to reach their fullest potential. Teri Kroll, a long term volunteer of Lindy Cares, visited the students personally to deliver the awards.

A special thank you to Nicholas V., Gianna V. and Joseph M. for helping to pave a better path for students who come after! On behalf of the entire Lindy Community and the Lindy Cares Board of Directors, we wish you continued success and scholarship!
