Lindy College Students Receive Academic Honors

Several Lindenhurst college students received honors for academic achievement during the 2012 fall semester.

• Courtney Triola has been named to Champlain College's Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Majoring in professional writing, Triola is the daughter of James and Lisa Triola.

• Teressa Piciullo, a medical studies major was among more than 500 traditional day and adult evening students from DeSales University who made the fall Dean's List.

• Matt Krolak and Matthew Seaman were named to the Dean's List at the University of New Haven. Full-time undergraduate students at the university must have a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA for the semester to be eligible for the Dean's List.

• Raquel Ramirez, a sophomore undeclared major at York College of Pennsylvania, has been named to the college’s Dean's List. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.
