Lindy Company Pledges to Give Back!

Like any other business Turtle Graphx places ads to build their sales, but the owner of Turtle Graphx, Tom Bauman always tries to make everything he does a little more meaningful. Tom first met with Lindy Cares during the pandemic shut down, and delivered his promise to help design and print beautiful banners at a discounted price for our graduating class of 2020. Every student received a personalized keepsake banner hand-delivered by the principal and superintendent of schools.

Tom also helped by sponsoring a Public Service Announcement (PSA) about a recent drug take-back campaign providing residents information about how to dispose of unwanted, expired prescription medications properly.

Recently, Turtle Graphx and Lindy Cares connected with the ARMS club, which was established 15 years ago by a dedicated teacher, Mrs. Bottachiari, and her students who help make sure not one Lindy student goes without the school supplies they need. This year promises to be more difficult, and Tom and his assistant Heather plan to partner with the Loyal Order of Moose to raise funds to help the club replenish their supply closet for next year's students.

Today, consumers demand more transparent and responsible products; and incorporating corporate social responsibility, or CSR is a win-win for businesses and not for profit corporations. By establishing these policies, companies work both internally and externally to be more responsible stewards.

Lindy Cares strives to connect people, places, maximize the accessible resources, and to serve as a conduit to professional services people in our communities may need. Tom, who remembers not always having everything he needed to succeed in school, has vowed to lend a helping hand to the students who come after.
