This is what happens when a community gets together! We are blessed to have a front row seat to watch another Lindy student soar to reach her highest potential. This collaboration of parents, school officials, local government representatives, clubs and community organizations rallying behind a student who recognizes the need for good citizenship and the need to share knowledge and awareness with her peers! Sabia has volunteered at our Lindy library, she is the president of the Key club, she is an agent of change with Lindy Cares and has attended 3 sessions of Long Island teen institute funded by a grant from our assemblywoman Kimberly Jean Pierre. Transportation provided by a gift courtesy of the village of Libdenhurst, Mayor Mike Lavorata providing safe transportation via the LINDENHURST Fire Department. Sincere thanks to Legislator Kevin Mccaffrey for nominating Sabia for this anti-biased task force human rights award to recognize her extra efforts to bring global matters into Lindenhurst. Campaigns like these further enrich the sterling academic experience our school district had to offer! Congratulations to Sabia and your entire family!!!
