Lindenhurst High School wrestling coach Ron Frole achieved his 100th career victory and was recognized with a plaque at senior night, as Lindenhurst lost a tough competition against Connetquot in a Suffolk League II battle of the undefeated.
“Our guys wrestled their hearts out,” Frole said.
Frole is in his 10th year as the head coach of the wrestling program. He has also served as the junior varsity coach, assistant coach and middle school coach for more than 20 years.

Frole is a 1988 graduate of Lindenhurst High School. He wrestled with Joe Russo, a legendary Lindenhurst coach. Ron, along with assistant coaches Rick Brodmerkal, Mark Frole and Dan Perez, has built a strong bulldog wrestling program.
“Coach Frole will do anything he has to do to make the athletes better,” said Mark Frole. “He is extremely dedicated.”
