Man Charged In Connection To Robbery, Grand Larceny: Police
The 48-year-old who was arrested for reportedly carrying a gun at a parking lot, was later found to be connected to two crimes, police said.

COPIAGUE, NY — A Central Islip man was arrested on Monday in Copiague in connection to multiple crimes including an armed robbery and grand larceny within the Town of Babylon, according to Suffolk police.
Officers responded to The Home Depot on 1101 Sunrise Highway after a 911 call reporting a man was carrying a handgun in the parking lot at 5:15 p.m., police said.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the man, identified as 48-year-old Joseph Mancuso, and arrested him, police said. They found he had an imitation pistol, a stolen credit card, and a stolen 2001 Toyota Camry, police said.

Following an investigation, detectives discovered that Mancuso was responsible for the armed robbery of 7-Eleven on 864 Long Island Avenue in Deer Park Sunday night, police said.
He was charged with first-degree robbery, fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petty larceny, police said. He was held overnight at the First Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
