Man Charged With DWI After Crashing Into Pole: Police
The 61-year-old was arrested following the crash on S. Delaware Avenue earlier this week, police said.
LINDENHURST, NY - A Lindenhurst man was charged with a DWI after crashing into a pole in Lindenhurst earlier this week, according to Suffolk police.
On Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., Brian Ward was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound on S. Delaware Avenue when he veered off the road and struck a pole, police said.

The 61-year-old was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Ward was arrested and charged with DWI, police said.
