Man Ejected From Car In Lindenhurst Crash In Critical Condition
The man was flung from his car after veering off the road and striking a couple of objects, police say.
LINDENHURST, NY — A man was critically injured in a Lindenhurst crash on Wednesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
Michael Degore, 27, of Lindenhurst, was driving a 2016 Chrysler 300 southbound on South Strong Avenue when he veered off the road, police said. He struck a telephone pole and a parked vehicle around 4:20 p.m., police said. Degore was ejected from the Chrysler, which then became fully engulfed by fire, police said. The Copiague Fire Department extinguished the fire.
Degore is in critical condition at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, police said.
