Man Seriously Injured In North Amityville Shooting: PD
The 38-year-old was found shot multiple times in the driveway of a Emerald Lane South home, police said.
NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — A man was seriously injured after a shooting in North Amityville Sunday night, according to Suffolk police.
Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a man shot on Emerald Lane South at 7:49 p.m., police said.
When officers arrived at the scene they found 38-year-old Roland Jarvis, of North Amityville, lying on the ground in a driveway in front of the Emerald Lane South home, police said.

He had been shot multiple times.
Jarvis was transported to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow in critical condition, police said.

No arrests have been made as of Monday morning.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
