Multiple Road Closures In Town Of Babylon This Weekend
There will be several events causing road closures within the town this upcoming weekend. Drivers are advised to plan accordingly.

TOWN OF BABYLON, NY - Suffolk County Police are advising residents of several road closures within the Town of Babylon this weekend.
There will be several community events between Thursday, May 31 and Sunday, June 3 causing road closures so residents are advised to plan their travel routes accordingly.

- West Babylon - St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Annual Grecian Festival on 200 Great East Neck Road, (rain date: June 7 to June 10) closure times: May 31 - 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., June 1 - 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., June 2 - Noon to 11 p.m. June 3 - Noon to 10 p.m.
- Babylon Village Spring Festival - June 2: road closures between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Deer Park Avenue between RR Avenue and Main Street and Fire Island Avenue south of Main Street to the municipal parking lot south of the Carriage House.
- Babylon Village Docks - The Suffolk Marine will host their Annual Striped Bass Tournament on June 2 and June 3.
- Lindenhurst - The Lindenhurst Fire Department will host the Annual Long Island Invitational Drill and Parade on June 2 (rain date: June 3). The parade will start at 6 p.m. at the intersection of S. Wellwood Avenue and Liberty Street, proceeding north on Wellwood to Hartford Street where it will travel east on Hartford to Fireman’s Memorial Park.
- North Amityville - The North Amityville Community Festival Day on June 2 will start with a Parade/Walk-a-thon at 8 a.m. and continue with a festival 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Parade will commence at Harrison Avenue and Rosewood Avenue proceed toward Albany Avenue to Great Neck Road ending at Booker Boulevard. The festival will follow at Bolden Mack Park.
