New Study Reveals U.S. Airlines Most Likely To Bump Passengers

LONG ISLAND, NY - The holiday season is upon us which means a lot of traveling. Whether looking to visit Long Island or leave to visit family elsewhere, hundreds of local residents will be booking flights for the holidays.
So if you're planning on flying this season, you might want to consider which airline to take to make sure you actually get to your destination, and avoid the airlines that might bump passengers.
Luckily, the website, Upgradedpoints.com, recently conducted a study of the U.S. airlines most likely to bump passengers. The website made the list by comparing the number of enplaned passengers, involuntary denied boardings and number of bumped passengers.

According to the study, the number one airline to make the list was Frontier. The website found that Frontier bumped 6.28 passengers per 100,000 people. However, American Airlines had the most involuntary denied boardings at 2,614.
