Nominations Deadline Is Friday for Pride of Lindenhurst Award

The deadline is Friday, May 3, for nominations for the 2013 award.

The deadline is nearing for the Pride of Lindenhurst Award, which is presented each year to an individual (or organization) in recognition of an outstanding contribution that inspires pride in the Lindenhurst School District.

According to information posted on the Lindenhurst Schools website, the deadline is this Friday, May 3.

"We have an abundance of talented, dedicated and hardworking people in Lindenhurst. We would appreciate it if you would nominate candidates you believe are deserving of this prestigious award," District officials said.

One award in each category are presented annually:

  • Category One: Student or group of students.
  • Category Two: Employee or group of employees of the Lindenhurst  Public School system.
  • Category Three: Community organization which or individual who makes an outstanding effort to enhance pride in the Lindenhurst School District. 
Nominations to Lindenhurst Public Schools, McKenna Administration Building, 350 Daniel Street, Lindenhurst, New York 11757, attention to Superintendent's office, prior to Friday's deadline.
