Obit: Anthony Pecorale, Former Lindenhurst Superintendent Dies

Died: February 12, 2019

Visitation: Thursday, Feb. 14 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home on 1225 Montauk Highway in West Islip.

Service: Saturday, Feb. 16 starting at 8:45 a.m. at the St. Patrick's R.C. Church on 9 North Clinton Avenue in Bay Shore.

Obituary: Anthony Pecorale Jr., of West Islip, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 12. He was 83.

He retired as Superintendent of the Bayport-BluePoint and Lindenhurst School District.

Pecorale was predeceased by his sister, Joan.

He is survived by his wife, Maria E. Pecorale as well as his children; Anthony (Jennifer), Erica, Ralph (Francesca), Paul and Laura (Erik).

In addition, Pecorale is survived by his 10 grandchildren as well as his siblings; Michael, Vincent, Anna and Mary.

Interment will take place at the Queen of All Saints Cemetery in Central Islip.
