Pedestrian Struck By Car In Lindenhurst
A man was critically injured in the crash Tuesday night.
LINDENHURST, NY — A man was critically injured when he was struck by a car in Lindenhurst Tuesday night, police said.
According to Suffolk police, a 57-year-old Lindenhurst man was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu west on East Hoffman Avenue, near South Smith Street, when his car struck an adult male at about 9:45 p.m.
The victim, who police have not named, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was listed in critical condition. The driver and his female passenger were uninjured.

No criminal charges have been filed. The investigation is continuing and detectives are asking anyone with information on the case to call Major Case Unit at 631-852-6553.
